An opportunity to network in the city, while enjoying the best wine from the Yarra Valley

Join us at a premium networking event like no other, Business After Dark. We’ll take you on a journey into the heart of the Yarra Valley, the wine and the ambiance.

Network over drinks and canapes, at The Imperial Hotel, in Bourke Street, the third oldest pub in Melbourne’s CBD. A perfect time to enjoy some of the world’s greatest wines, developed over thousands of years in a well-established, historic location.

Due to the diversity of climate, soil and aspects, the Yarra Valley is one of the few regions able to produce a wide range of world class wines, and there is certainly something for every wine lover to enjoy.

Business After Dark is a great way for the future leaders of your organisation to hone their networking skills and promote your team's talents to the Victorian business community.

The De Bortoli family story is one of determination and triumph that started nearly 90 years ago in war-torn Europe and is now told, generations later, across Australia.

Starting with Vittorio and Giuseppina De Bortoli, our history encompasses the universal story of immigrants making good in an adopted land through hard work, innovation and the support of family and friends.

From humble beginnings making small amounts of dry table wine, mostly for fellow European immigrants, De Bortoli Wines expanded and consolidated under the direction of Vittorio and Giuseppina’s energetic son Deen and his wife Emeri. Their four children – Darren, Leanne, Kevin and Victor – joined the family business and developed De Bortoli’s reputation for premium wine, firstly through iconic dessert wine Noble One and then via the success of the cool climate wines produced at the family’s Yarra Valley Estate.

Today, as a fourth generation contemplates entering the family business, De Bortoli Wine’s official motto, Semper ad Majora (“always striving for better”) and the unofficial one (good food, good wine and good friends) remain as true and central as ever.

We specialise in cool climate wine styles from our base on the Warramate foothills ‘South of Maroondah Highway’ in the heart of the Yarra Valley. Our vineyard’s unique positioning allows us to focus on the wine styles typical to Northern Italy as well as Eastern France. It is from here we set out to make wine with the charm of Northern Italy but the provenance of the majestic Yarra Valley.

Established in 1999 by the Smedley family, this picturesque Yarra Valley winery has two sites under vine: the five-star James Halliday-rated Dixons Creek site, where the Cellar Door complex and glasshouse DiVino Ristorante is based, and the other a Premium Pinot Noir site at Yarra Junction. Mandala Wines offers a full range of prized Estate wines along with its renowned assortment of Single-Site wines, which reflect in taste exactly what makes the Yarra Valley so special as a winegrowing region. All Mandala Wines varietals are hand-pruned, hand-picked at low-yield and produced with an ‘Art of Balance’ winemaking philosophy.

Located in the heart of the Yarra Valley, one hour’s drive from Melbourne CBD, 1.5 hour’s from Melbourne Airport. Oakridge winery is set on 18 hectares of undulated vineyard overlooking the Yarra Valley.

Oakridge’s state of the art cellar door and 150 seat restaurant embodies all that this exceptional region has to offer: award winning wines, exceptional food experiences and a magnificent setting.

A multipurpose operation catering for day conferences, board meetings, off-site dinners, product launches, hot topic seminars, themed dinners, milestone events and end-of-year celebrations.

Oakridge Wines provides a superb winery setting that is bound to make every occasion a memorable one.
