The Victoria Summit 2017 is the premier policy event of the Victorian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. This year’s Summit has a clear focus on developing recommendations to put to all political parties in the lead-up to the 2018 Victorian election.
The Victorian Chamber of Commerce and Industry acknowledges the valued support of the Victorian Government as the Principal Partner of the Victoria Summit 2017.
One of the key themes of the Victoria Summit is Liveability and the Visitor Economy.
Melbourne has been voted the ‘World’s Most Liveable City’ for the 6th year in a row, while our regions showcase natural beauty, fresh produce and collaborative communities. However, challenges are emerging as our population grows, global competition intensifies and businesses face rising cost pressures.
Our Victoria Summit 2017 Forum: Liveability and the Visitor Economy will focus on how we can meet these challenges and leverage Victoria’s liveability credentials and world-class reputation as a vibrant visitor destination.
The Forum will be attended by Victorian business leaders, with several high-profile panel members sharing their views before we open up the floor for questions from the audience.
