Richard has more than ten years’ experience working in senior HR management roles in large, complex environments. He also has more than five years of experience working in dedicated industrial relations roles for employer associations. Richard has worked in the local government, higher education and manufacturing sectors and has dealt with a wide range of industrial and employment matters in the workplace and before external tribunals.

Lisa has a diverse professional background, having previously worked in workplace relations roles in public transport, tourism, state government and ASX listed companies prior to joining the Victorian Chamber in 2009. Lisa holds postgraduate qualifications in law.

Katie has over seven years’ experience in human resources and more than 10 years’ experience in business management. Katie has worked as a national HR advisor at aglobal company, where she provided services to a network of over 3,000 employees in Australia. Katie has consulted to a variety of industries, including retail, manufacturing, transport, food, and fitness. Her work experience and qualifications ensures Katie can provide sophisticated and tailored solutions for any business.
Amy Bell
Senior Workplace Relations Consultant and Policy Advisor (Local Government)
Amy is a non-practising lawyer with 10 years’ experience. She has worked closely with employers, advising them on contracts, drafting policies, disciplinary action, dispute settlement, negotiation, restructures and redundancies. She has represented employers at the Fair Work Commission, the Supreme Court of the Northern Territory and the Federal Court of Australia. Amy has also trained senior staff and HR managers about unfair dismissal, the use and implementation of policies, and the bullying jurisdiction of the Fair Work Commission.
Thomas Page
Senior Workplace Relations Consultant


Tom has experience dealing with a range of workplace relations matters for small, medium and large businesses. Tom’s two years as an advisor on the Victorian Chamber workplace relations helpline equipped him with a knowledge of, and ability to interpret, modern awards. In 2010, Tom transferred to the Victorian Chamber workplace relations consulting team. Tom has a personable style with strong communication skills. His greatest strength is his ability to translate the most complex issues into simple terms for his clients.

Nicholas Barkatsas
Senior Workplace Relations Consultant


Nicholas has experience giving strategic advice on a range of workplace and industrial relations matters, including legislation, awards and enterprise bargaining. He also represents employers at tribunal hearings and conferences. Nicholas has a strong ability to dissect complex employment scenarios for his clients and give them practical advice. Nicholas has a wide range of private sector experience, having worked for a large labour hire company, a community legal centre and a public transport operator. He was recently admitted to legal practice.

Kate Connellan
Senior Workplace Relations Consultant


Kate has over ten years’ experience in heavy industries including construction, law enforcement and on the waterfront – highly challenged, heavily unionised environments. Kate has held senior roles in HR and prides herself on her practical and humanistic approach. Kate is a trusted adviser on employee welfare and engagement issues, conflict resolution, training programs, investigations, and work culture. She has experience in large scale enterprise bargaining negotiations and representation of employers in a range of jurisdictions for complex workplace complaints and claims.

Ellie Stephens
Senior Human Resources and Equal Opportunity Consultant


Ellie has extensive experience managing, developing and delivering HR and EO programs. Known for her engaging and practical approach, Ellie is passionate about the benefits of diversity and inclusiveness to help businesses be employers of choice and attract and retain skilled staff. Ellie is a recognised specialist in mediations and investigations, particularly in bullying matters. Before joining the Victorian Chamber, Ellie held senior positions with Diversity Council Australia and Boeing. She has also run her own business so understands the unique challenges facing small employers.
Kayla Tucker
Workplace Relations Consultant
Kayla provides strategic workplace relations and employment relations training, representation and consulting services. Kayla’s consulting expertise includes equal opportunity; harassment and bullying; responsibilities and obligations; unfair dismissals, terminations and redundancy; drafting, bargaining and negotiating enterprise agreements and contracts; and delivering tailored training programs and briefings for a range of businesses and industries.
Ali McNicol
Workplace Relations Consultant
Ali brings valuable experience in workplace relations issues resolution for small to medium sized businesses across all industries. Ali specializes in award and agreement interpretation; wage audits and underpayments claims; unfair dismissals; terminations; and drafting, bargaining and negotiating enterprise agreements.
Lisa Alcock
Workplace Relations Consultant (Local Government)
Lisa has worked with state government, providing advice to managers on employee relations, giving policy advice and consultation, and preparing documentation for performance issues. Lisa has also been the project lead on internal programs. Lisa’s experience, coupled with her academic and personal interests in politics, means she has an acute understanding and awareness of the policy issues faced by the government community services sector.
Brett Pomroy
Workplace Relations Consultant
Brett brings extensive field and management experience within small and large organisations. He has worked as an advisor in a law firm, local government council and as an HR consultant. Brett is a multi-skilled practitioner in the fields of human resources, industrial relations, employee relations, international relations, political developments and policy, OHS and workers’ compensation. He is also a practitioner in international labour management and complex labour-related matters.

Tanya Anastasiadis

Tanya has a strong human resources and equal opportunity background, with extensive operational and management experience in large, medium and small organisations. Tanya has worked in the areas of cultural and business transformation, engagement and retention, change management, diversity, acquisitions, talent and performance management, and employee relations. For the past seven years, Tanya has provided strategic and operational HR solutions, training and facilitation for the private, public and not-for-profit sectors.
Cath Pollard
Workplace Relations Consultant
Cath is a lawyer who has specialised in industrial relations and employment related matters for 15 years. Cath provides industrial and employee relations assistance to private and public organisations across a range of industries, including mining and resources, energy and chemicals, transport, construction, health, retail, manufacturing and associated industries. Cath appears as an advocate in the Fair Work Commission in claims made under the Fair Work Act including unfair dismissal and general protections claims, industrial disputes and enterprise bargaining.
