The Benalla Business Network (BBN) promotes, supports and brings businesses in the district of Benalla together through leadership, advocacy and networking opportunities.
The BBN acts as a conduit between local business and council as a not-for-profit local network run by local business operators.
The BBN works collaboratively with local business to improve and grow the Benalla business community by offering a range of industry specific professional development and events and local promotions.
Geelong Chamber of Commerce
The Geelong Chamber of Commerce is one of Australia’s leading regional business bodies – with a rich, long and successful history of advocating on behalf of local members. With the interests of the city's organisations as its driving force, its efforts ensure a healthy economy for industries and businesses – big and small – operating in the greater Geelong region.
The networking events are the largest in the region and designed to encourage business professionals to interact with each other and expand their business contacts. The Geelong Chamber’s role is also to support, educate and facilitate a healthy, vibrant business community.
Sale Business Tourism Association
The Sale Business Tourism Association (BTA) is the ‘voice’ for the Sales business community – working to support and develop business in the region.
As Sales’ most prominent business representative body, the BTA advocates on behalf of all organisations large and small. It ensures industries have their say on the issues that impact the economic growth of business and the region.
The Sale BTA offers a diverse range of services that facilitate the growth of businesses in the region. It holds regular networking events, workshops and business breakfasts, designed to encourage business people to connect and form strategic business-to-business affiliations; gain access to areas of government; and promote themselves within the region.
Formerly known as the Bendigo Business Council, Be.Bendigo is an organisation that provides a focal point for local businesses to connect with each other and advocate for each other as a community.
Be.Bendigo is the pre-eminent organisation for business and industry in the greater Bendigo region; they are also one of the largest regional chambers of commerce in Victoria.
Be.Bendigo aims to create a more vibrant economy by unlocking the potential of business and individuals.
Colac & District Chamber of Commerce & Industry
The Colac & District Chamber of Commerce & Industry (CDCCI) is a not-for-profit organisation that promotes business opportunities in the region. CDCCI takes a prominent role developing business around Colac and the Otways through representation to government, committees and local events. They also provide networking and knowledge sharing events as well as promotional activities to further the interests of members, who are all involved in the local economy.
CDCCI changed its name in 2015 from Otway Business Inc. to better reflect the geography of its membership and influence. It aims to engage and support local business, pursue funding for members and support educational and training opportunities.
Maffra Business & Tourism Association
Maffra Business and Tourism Association (MBTA) is a relatively new organisation dedicated to engaging community spirit. It formerly existed as a Chamber of Commerce, however, after five years it was relaunched in September 2015. Among its objectives are the growth of tourism, attracting new businesses to the region and building a thriving economy and employment opportunities for local residents.
Maffra is located north of Sale in the heart of Victoria. Located well-off Princes Highway it is well placed for Gippsland tourism.
Shepparton Chamber of Commerce
The Shepparton Chamber of Commerce has nearly 100 years of history behind it. Through an ever-changing business environment, coupled with a changing agricultural landscape, the region has propelled itself forward through innovation and the reinvention of many traditional business and industry sectors throughout the region.
Of upmost priority to the Chamber is to deliver value and representation to its members and corporate partners. The Shepparton Chamber continues to strongly support and engage in continuous dialogue with the many micro, small to medium sized businesses in the region.
Sunbury Business Association
The Sunbury Chamber of Commerce was established in 1990 and evolved to become the Sunbury Business Association (SBA) in 2010.
The SBA is a not-for-profit organisation funded solely from memberships and sponsorships, with all proceeds reinvested back into initiatives to benefit SBA members, Sunbury businesses, and the Sunbury regional community. All Board, Committee and support roles are filled by volunteer professionals from Sunbury’s business community.
For many years, the organisation’s objective has been to facilitate business success in Sunbury by helping businesses to grow, create employment, and build a stronger, sustainable and connected community.
