Victoria Racing Club - 70 years' membership

The Victoria Racing Club (VRC) was established in 1864 when it became the principal authority for the conduct of racing in Victoria (Racing Victoria Ltd now fulfils that role). In 1971, VRC commenced the management of Flemington Racecourse. Flemington Racecourse is the best-known metropolitan racecourse in Australia, with races run every year since 1840. With its superb facilities, Flemington hosts 23 race meetings every year, including the world-renowned Melbourne Cup Carnival. The VRC has approximately 30,000 members, making it the largest member-based racing club in the world.

George White & Co - 70 years' membership

George White & Co Pty Ltd were first established in 1854 and are Australia’s leading specialist importers, stockists and wholesalers of non-ferrous metals. They sell off-the-shelf and by special order, an extensive range of non-ferrous metals to the manufacturing industry and the general public.

The company is currently run by fifth generation direct descendants of George White who are proud to continue the provision of this first-class service to their customers.

Norman G Clark are a privately owned Australian company founded by Norman Gray Clark and located in Heidelberg West. Approaching a century of operations, they are a manufacturer and importer of a wide range of industrial and automation products for industries such as agriculture, defence, food processing and power generation. They pride themselves on their ability to add value and provide support to their customers.

SGS is the world’s leading inspection, verification, testing and certification company. They are recognised as the global benchmark for quality and integrity. They established their first operations in Australia in 1949 and now have a network of more than 50 offices and laboratories with over 1,700 employees across the country. Their services are applied across many industries including the mining, consumer goods, construction, energy and logistics sectors. Australia houses the SGS Global Competency Centre for coal sampling, traffic technology and energy efficiency in white goods.

Morton, Watson & Young Chartered Accountants - 68 years' membership

Morton, Watson & Young Chartered Accounts are a Melbourne firm with a reputation for outstanding service, value and integrity. The firm’s origins began in 1906 when Louis J. Watson opened a practice. He was joined three years later by Richard T. Morton, and Stanley G. Young thus establishing the partnership of Morton, Watson & Young. Expression Australia (Vicdeaf) - 68 years' membership

Expression Australia is a not-for-profit organisation which advocates for access, inclusion and equal opportunity. Founded and inspired by the Deaf community in 1884, they support people who experience barriers due to perceived differences. They advocate for equal opportunities and inclusivity by providing employment, audiology, learning and access solutions. Expression Australia is proudly bilingual and bicultural, using both Auslan and English.

Expression Australia rebranded on the 13 August from Vicdeaf, representing the unique and diverse way their clients express themselves.

The services they value most from the Chamber are the tools and templates and Workplace Relations Advice Line.

Baillieau Holst - 67 years' membership

Baillieu Holst is one of Australia’s leading financial advisory firms, providing a range of wealth management services to their clients including financial planning and superannuation services. The merger of EL & C Baillieu and FW Holst & Co in 2012 combined two firms established in the late 1800’s. AGAPI Care Inc is a not-for-profit organisation committed to delivering tailored services and supports to people with a disability in Victoria, to meet identified needs and goals.

Their services include respite, supported accommodation, and individual support package implementation.

Alec Epis Cleaning Service - 10 years' membership

Essendon Football personality Alec Epis started the cleaning service back in 1972. Originally working in the business with Alec, James decided to purchase the business more than 20 years ago. Today James and his wife Helen Aforozis have built  one of Melbourne’s most respected cleaning services. This June Alec Epis Cleaning Services celebrated 10 years as a loyal member of the Victorian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI)
